About Cricket Buntje
Cricket Buntje has a passion for solving problems and helping others. After working 25 years in the corporate world, she decided to apply her passions in another field.
“I’d reached a point in my career that I wanted a business that helped others,” says Cricket, who helps her disabled father manage his medical and financial needs. She also helped her aunt research the best care facilities when her 90-year-old grandmother fell and broke her hip.
“It was difficult to know where to start,” Cricket says, “and now I’d like to help other people navigate the process.”
A lifelong resident of St. Paul, Cricket has an intimate knowledge of St. Paul and its environs. To become more knowledgeable about the many issues facing seniors, she completed months of study and testing to become a Certified Senior Advisor.
Today Cricket spends much of her time touring and reviewing local living communities — including assisted living, independent living, dementia and memory care, and residential care homes — to help her clients make the best possible decision for their loved ones. Now, she meets one-on-one with families to assess their needs, accompanies them on tours of pre- approved facilities, assists with negotiations and paperwork, and follows up with the senior after a placement is made.
“I get a lot of fulfillment out of solving problems, making those connections, and in this case finding the perfect spot, the right fit,” Cricket says. “At the end of the day, it’s nice knowing that the work you’re doing is worthwhile.”
The best part? She offers her services at no cost to families; she earns a fee from the facility after a placement is made.
On a personal note, Cricket is passionate about making healthy life choices – eating right, staying active, and carving out quality time with her three kids, ranging in age from 13 to 28.
“I am very proud of the adults my two oldest are becoming,” she says, “and I’m enjoying time with my youngest son . . . he’s my golf partner and ski buddy.”
Cricket is always happy to help with all the necessary services related to assisted living facilities or residential care home for your loved ones in St. Paul metro area. You can see assisted living facilities reviews in Minnesota on her corporate page.
